Today I followed a link to a TED talk by Mac Barnett about good books being ‘secret doors’. It turned out to be of marginal interest, funny in parts, but nothing special beyond a few ideas that could have been expressed more succinctly. Here’s the link if you want it.
What I thoroughly enjoyed was a link I then followed to another TED talk, by Jarrett Krosoczka. He talks about ‘lunch ladies are heroes’, but his argument is much more widely applicable. What Jarrett reminds us is that two words can change lives: thank you. This talk is funny, inspiring, well worth spending 5 minutes of your life watching.
